i still miss ULP

the school canteen looks too big to me now. not as nice and small and cosy as the one in the campsite.
i miss the bunks, especially since i didnt get bedbites (cos i'm sucha good girl! teeheeheeh)
i miss all the gatherings (even tho i only went on one) and having fun together as a buncha people
i miss my coursemates! especially BRAVO-ly magnificento people(:
i miss all the fun we had as ULP-ers
i miss the scoldings O.O!
i miss the bond.
and i hope it stays forever.
i hope that no matter how old i am, i wont look back and say: how stupid it was to hang on so tight.

SYF FAD IS HARDD. ugly sunburn mann! but saw lamlam ma'am, daphne ma'am, qijun sir, and michelle ma'am (mwaha we know her name now!) aha and saw chevy peh too! x) lol she was our groupmate and she never reappeared after the first contact session. haha. and we always reach home so late! then the next day is school. :/ we should have permission to go school late since we reach home so late from SYF FAD! haiyoh now i'm sick too. saturday FAD's gonna stretch until 11pm! T.T sigh we take too good care of people. ;) AND SOME PEOPLE THOUGHT WE WERE ST JOHNS! rawr.

yesterdayy.
Sec three training camp rocked la. zomg i think it's super fun! :D haha even though ulp's still the best camp i've been to so far, sec three training camp let me learn abt all the things i'd need to know when we take over as a year.
(oh gosh i sound like i'm doing reflections haha)
anyway, day 1 of secthree tcamp we went to serangoon stadium to gather. played this disability game which was super funny wahahahaha. xD then we made a year flag! below we wrote "we leave an impact." and we drew a bomb! haha bwaha initially it looked like a jingle bell for christmas! xD then coincidentally our colour combo was also the christmas colours! red and green were majority lolol. then we set off on our 6.5 hr hike to RGS. YEA TO RGS. zomggg. we stoned duhh. i mean, not literally stoned. we rocked. hahah i think that sounds less confusing. hehhheh. minjia was our navigator! her territory! lol haha. luckily she knows the 105 route so well if not we mati. haha lol. AND THERE WAS ONE POINT WE TOOK BUS! whoooo. just because nature was blocking wheehee. i love nature. ;P mass evac was.. :/ heh but i actually administered first aid! xD
then came back to schl and played this uber cool game called SQUEEZE AND SPREAD. even though it was tough and physically challenging, it helped us to reflect much about our year, how much we trusted in each other and how far we could bond as one. though tears were shed, i think it was all worth it. my philosophy of "no matter how it hurts, just hold it in" faded as i learnt that not every one had the same philosophy as i did.
(omg i think i'm really doing reflections! O.o hehheh just bear with me then :D)
then OMG! we had 45 mins to bathe. :DD YAY! then after that had chicken rice for dinner. AGAIN hahaha. but the lunch one was better. xP (cos we bought it and we had fruit juice summore! AND NOT DILUTED ALSO! WAHAHA. apple juice rocks! xD) after dinner we played the card kissing game. CHELSEA AND GERI LOST THEIR FIRST FIVE KISSES! wahahahahha! so funny! xD luckily nothing happened to me man. phew. hahaha. then went to the hall, had reflections and kindof an sl session. pretty cool and nice and we sorted out some misunderstandings x)
then parade drills! haha YAY STICK ORDERLIE! haaha. then washup and sleeep.
woke up at 5 plus and washed up only to realise we were supposed to wake up at 6.15 and wash up THEN. sigh. x) nvm we slacked a while, had a slack pt, and then revised parade drills, then had outdoor cooking for breakfast! scrambled eggs YUMM. baked beans were abit blehh and beehoon was not bad. haha didnt eat sardines tho. >< dont really like it. thenn. washed up and went to the classroom where the ma'ams told us abt the respective roles in the unit and their responsibilities. mmhmm it's supposed to be in the ulp handbook. WHOOPS *blushes* teeheeh malu. then we left for crd. dang i heard they had alot of fun with some haunted house thinggg. WAHH!
cadets' recognition day!
went to boys' toilet to change. HAHAHA. we didnt know where the girls' toilet were mahh. then we saw two girls standing outside this toilet so we decided to just give it a try. HAHAHA. luckily the guy only came in after we had finished changing! lol but he gushed out after weiming ma'am went "sorry." TAHAHA so funny! xD then had the performances then prize giving. lol the order became screwed and jamues' face was stuck there for a long time. and my pic became zaidah! lol hahah. ehh thenthen. we took pics! hahaha eeyer pohboon sir malu me shout so loudly that i'm short! rawrrr. hahaha x) then i had to go in front hmpf! i'm tall k! hahaha. thennn. OHYEAH.
WE HAD DINNER. haha guess what was our dinner? it was leftover packet food that yvonne eng ma'am (i think) wanted us to finish/clear. so we ate. and the rest thought we were pathetic. AYE WE'RE ECONOMIC K! haha and guess what? we went to swensens and had ICE CREAM. YUMM. two TOPLESS FIVES and one REGULAR EARTHQUAKE. mmmm-mmm! i liked the yummy raisin one (got alcohol sia dang nicee) and the chocolate flavoured ones andand goodness knows whatelse! hahaha and we mixed the remainder and added ketchup and pepper! xD it was sour and tasted like "suan mei" according to daphne ma'am. wahaha. free dinner and DESSERT on top of dinner! hahaha alpha and charlie ought to be jealous xP then thought for a long long time before deciding to go bowling. TOOK THE LRT FOR THE FIRST TIME. DAMNN COOL. :D so small and nice teeheeh and it was like a roller coaster too! coooool. i wish there was one at yiochukang! then can save all the walking home.
bowling was ok. i'm not pro! >< really THE TWO STRIKES WERE JUST PURE LUCK. really la. then after that my arm started aching from the previous day's carrying and pulling and all. hahaha i got so many longkangs la! still say i pro. lol xD trainers won i think. BUT WE GOT MORE STRIKES! mwahaha five wor!
left the alley around 9.40 liddat. then uhh i was stuck inside jamues and some sir/ma'am(s)' convo. then i wanted to get out and go home already. but there was no spacey hole in between except this really LOOOW hole in between these two pple. so i bent my knees and squeezed thru. daphne ma'am laughed T.T ahwells it was a fun dayy. after i bathed i popped straight to bed. couldnt tahan already la. woke up at 1.30 today heh so i gave church a miss x(

EXERCISE NEUTRALITY - OVER!
YAYYYYY! no more late nights for me :D
in fact, we were so busy doing it (actually more of contacting each other and making sure no one fell asleep) that we only finished it at 5.45am!

the next night i slept from 10+ onwards. heh sorry to whoever was talking to me online.. >< i was sleeping like a piig.
syf fa duty was quite ok. at first no one fainted. then halfway, they started dropping like bombs! there were many times when stretcher squad 2 and 3 were totally empty. ><
after that dinner was pathetic. :/ only chelsea and me. bleh. and i had to dabao for my daddy so our dinner was shortened further. went home and finished up my dinner.

today had footdrill accred for yearmates. they all passed! whooo! peef the 3 of us still dont know our results lor. so inefficient one, that HQ.
then went for renci veggie food fiesta. stupid security guards. GRRR. they stalked us when we were giving out fliers can! from the 2nd floor to the 3rd, back to the 1st, to the basement, and back to the 1st floor. wth! :/ but in the end we still managed to finish. chelsea and i finished our last few at marina square! hahaha lol.
then we went for the opening ceremony. quite boring heh. then had free dinner and played truth or dare! truths were boring, dares were fun. sometimes quite unsporting but nevermind. (:

then kelly was um chio. meaning secretly laughing. lolol. hahaha then after waiting for halfanhour then we decided not to wait for meiling and went to cineleisure! haha decided on long johns so we went long johns. hahaha evonne ma'am so evil made hidayah help her buy lunch. somemore so many changes! eh what are they? upsize to sprite, more crumbs, tata sauce, ketchup, 2 straws. hahahaah. xD so ngiao ah! then kelly was umchio-ing again! then (wait was it there? aiyah dont care.) evonne ma'am said "aye breast cancer foundation say that if ou umchio can get breat cancer one you know!" hahaha lol but kelly still umchioed. xD

BRAVO! FOR ULP *insert powerpuff tune*
ULP WAS A BLAST. Believe it man, it's the best camp anyone could ever go to. For me, anyway. We all came from different backgrounds, different schools, different COUNTRIES, even (irene haha). We came to ULP, lost, not knowing anyone, not knowing what to do, HOW to do, dreading the camp, which we all miss like mad now.

Camp day 1:
The day didnt start well. We were late for reporting cos we were practising our dance at kembangan cc. :/ Then we went to settle our bunks :D then area cleaning.. nothing much la. collected leave which were supposed to be for outdoor cooking later in the evening, but in the end we didnt use them hhahaha.
Then it was lunch prep and lunch. we had catered food, which was quite nice wheehee hahahaha. then platoon time! err that one was not really platoon time la. cos we werent close yet. so we just ended up doing our proposal stuff for AOP later on. AOP was quite ok, our proposal was quite messy, but otherwise ok.. :/
ORIENTATION RUN! It was quite fun! :D and our group initiated the cheering wheeeeeeeee! OH B2 YOU'RE SO COOL, YOU'RE SO COOL YOU'RE SO ENTHU! HEY B2! HEY B2! x2 :D hahahah.
then was dinner prep and dinner.. had outdoor cooking! hahaha it's quite different from what we usually do. scrambled eggs! fried veggie! wah so nice xia. xD we took too long to cook though and finished late. >< then we ran up for case studies. hmm was a quiet discussion and was mainly thought by mentors. :/
exercise independence briefing and packing bag.. quite ok. yeauh. chief trainer coaching session was quite useful and learnt quite abit about leadership. debrief and supper was fine. :D ritz biscuits! xD i think this is the first camp with nice food man! whoo.
then bathed and slept at 2.30.
Camp day 2:
woke up at 5 am. yeahh. 2 hours of sleep hahaha. brought ex independence haversack down and had flagraising. saw for the first time how to do flagraising. quite interesting huh. then PT! wah PT was good man. OUR PLATOON CHEERED THE BEST, THE LOUDEST AND THE LONGEST MAN! WHOO! and we INITIATED the cheering summore. pro? PRO. DUH! xD breakfast was (oops i cant remember what we had for breakfast wait.) oh yes CEREALS! hahaha was quite nice lah. (: then we had a bag check and set off! whoo and we cheered and bonded during the bus ride there. wheeeeee. cool sia. our platoon rocks man! whooooo. the hike was quite tough, but our platoon survived with NO CASUALTIES! zero! kosong! ling! hahaha. and our group reached there the second i think. not sure. aha. then we sat down and had lunch and had tongue twister! i was the fastest! haha but after that played with the instructors and i lost. hahaha by 1 sec! :/
then we took pics and pohboon sir talked to us (ohman he had to leave early ): ) then we proceeded down bukit timah hill. kelly and i were talking about going to slip and fall and creating a domino effect down the rest of the people in front cos it was so steep! x) but we didnt hahaha. we didnt even run. x) cos once you start running, you'd definitely not stop. so yea. whee. and it rained! so we couldnt hike to mcRitche. ): even though we had dreaded it, i think we still wanted it! push our limits! sigh. kindof dampened our spirits. :/ then went back onto the bus, introed ourselves! hahaha YAY! then we had campfire prep and vetting whoo our group was not bad but some of us were still unsure x)
then, it was our turn to take over. >< we got them to bathe while we had our dinner prep SPAGHETTI. it was not bad but they said we could have improved haahha lol.
tent pitching was abit of a screwup but in the end it was quite ok. we got all the tents up. took quite long though. :/ then had campfire prep and re-vetting, then debrief and supper. had tang yuan for supper! hahaha so nice. but the soup-ish thingy looked suspicious, so i didnt drink it. heh.
bathed, slept at 2.45 this time.
Camp day 3:
Woke up at 4.45 cos we were trainee comm. then kelly and i were the flag bearers. and duh something went wrong! x( i raised the rc flag above the national flag. couldnt see ><><><
then had parade drills and procedures! quite fun leh hahaha, stupid kangwei was falling asleep so i had to poke him with my pen to wake him up. then HAHAHA he was so funny! they were asking for someone to be P2IC (parade 2 i/c) THEN HE THOUGHT IT WAS
B2IC HAHAHA. told you he was sleeping. xD so funny please! haha and i had wanted to tell him that earlier. but he was sleeping so i didnt. LOL! HAHA. xD !! made everyone laugh like mad please. then since then he lost his voice and sounded like jameus (is it spelt like that?), some c3 person. hahahahaa. xD
lunch was catered HAHA so shuang then we had exercise unity!
it was quite fun but sad. cos meiling so strong! kangwei so skinny! she lifted him up like it was nobody's business and took all our socks! ew and the sieowin (is it spelt like that too?!) person was so gross! he put the socks UNDER HIS ARMPIT! EWEWEW. then we had to go collect items from instructors to get our straws to build the structure. hahaha below are a few cheers we did for the instructors x):

then we had campfire prep (which was doing the food). quite ok la, but zaidah and i were jobless for a while. then we had catered food for dinner! wheeheehee. fried beehoon. helped xiaowen eat one nugget and one fishball. (my appetite that big meh?) then changed into our trad costume. hahaha lol i looked so CHILDISH. T.T but at least mine can dance in it lor! nanana. hahahhaha. xP campfire was quite fun! haha abit dry and i was quite unenthu (THUS EXPLAINING WHY I GOT MY MENSES TODAY!) pms mah. hahaha lol ok.
then had barbecueing, which wasnt really successful at all. x) raw food! >< fed geri some fruits before running for AOP. quite smooth flowing, i guess. then debrief and no supper (haha barbecuing was our supper la)
didnt bathe that day cos we were running late. slept at 3am cos i was doing reflections. haha. woke up at 6 though! nice instructors LOVE.
Camp day 4:
yup no flagraising and no PT. had bread and campbell soup for breakfast and then checked their bags while waiting for breakfast to be ready. we were the first platoon to be ready! HOOGASHAGA HOOGASHAGA HOOGASHAGA WHOO! set off late though cos we didnt do warmup exercise. :/ was quite tiring and they ran very fast! >< and then joyce had quite a bad fall and i helped her. aiyoh wrong decision to make my safety i/c man. i was bong all the way.
heh jorin ma'am even asked me if i had my sfa cert. HEEHEE malu. >< then pei2-ed joyce to walk to ECP. the people stopped to wait for us! how touching. hahah. but i thought they were gna cheer for joyce to jiayou but they didnt. guess they were tired la. (:
yay then at ECP we played sandcastle and wild wild wet! haha our platoon was the only one that went to the beach and played with water! must make use of surrounding mah! :D hahaha ECP is all about sand and water! see we're so resourceful. could see some pple from other groups looking at our platoonmates playing. heehee so fun.
then we were the first platoon to settle down too! haha see we're so zai. (: brisk walked (more of running and stop, running and stop though) back to the campsite and had lunch. we had beehoon cooked by the TRAINERS. i name it the LOVE beehoon. hahaha lol it was very nice! haha the other platoons were eating the TRAINER'S FOOD. lol please. x) then we had to eat ALL THREE PLATOONS' FOOD. O.O like zomgggggggggggggggg. but it's LOVE beehoon, so nevermind. lol. hahahahaha.
then we had area cleaning. did the logs room. quite ok la, i like folding stuffs. heehee. funness. then cleared up our bunk and had inspection. evonne ma'am was scary T.T she shouted so loudly! >< T.T WAHHH. then had debrief.

hahaha lol the title says it all! xD
yesterday (it's already 1am you see) night chelsea xiangy and i were on our way to our mrt. then we saw a star! and he was right in front of me. some misaku person from LUCIFY! hahaha xD yeah i know yall are jealous lolol. hahaha i think it was super amusing. cos chelsea stared at him and he quickly looked away. then on the escalator (i was directly directly behind him!) chelsea was saying "he's from lucify!!!!" xiangy was going "get autograph!!" then they were like "sure it's him?!?!?!" i was huh? then i realised my arm was resting on the escalator right next to him. ack it was so awkward! i was thinking, "move hand, or dont move hand?" then i decided maybe he didnt see my arm there anyway so nevermind. but sadly for xiangy and chelsea he took the other train. awwwww.
hahaha. seems like singapore's getting more and more STARS. hahaha xD
so far, i've seen olinda cho and daphne khoo at BK at far east (omg they got ap leh! and poseur too!) and zhou chu ming/zhou cong qing (aiyah cant differentiate la their name so similar. the judge at superband who has funny hair all the time waha) and this misaku person. hahaha.
oh, and not forgetting my cousin's wedding. saw many stars. including fann wong. wahaha! but i was shy so i didnt get the big peoples' autographs. heh.
ohyea. syf fa duty was quite fun leh! hahaha being at the base rocks. get to take PULSE (HAHA NOW I'M DACHANGJIN) and give out food and drinks. lol there were a few ap ones, a few CUTE (cough geri cough xD) ones and a few really sick ones. yeah like my patient who had a fever.

and i'm afraid to tell other people.
i'm not strong, y'know. i'm not strong at all. i wish i could dream about ____, i'm jealous of those who can dream sweet dreams about _____. when will be the right time to let all these people know? right when i first get to know them, in my introduction? that'd be too dark to match my personality. people may even shun me, those pessimistic ones, anyway. how could she leave me just like that?
i'm no longer that bubbly girl in the beginning of sec 2, jumping around the class disturbing people. now in class, i'm just a quiet girl who doesnt socialise, occasionally crazy. that's all. my life is officially boring. yet i dont care.

and that's what scares me. can i get myself back?

everyone has their own little problems, including me. just that i have this one extra big problem jutting out of all my small problems. it's too heavy. i need to get rid of it.
