ACS(I) Life Sciences Symposium
Twas quite interesting, i suppose. I found the frog dissection interesting, but horrendously CRUEL. The froggies DIED. And its companion (the live froggie in the tank) WAS LOOKING AT THE DEAD AND RIPPED OPENED FROGGIE. OHMANN.
Anyway. Saw a frog with liver cancer and another female frog. And a normal male frog, duh. Saw quite alot of stuff la. And i got my heart beat measured! XD dang funneh.
OUR USHER WAS rude. Ah wells. Actually ACS turned out different from what they were supposed to be : polite and gentlemanly. Total rudeness can. They expect the visitors to know where to go leh. Ok la, we smart. But not smart to the extent of knowing where the location of what is right, especially when we've NEVER BEEN TO THE SCHOOL COMPOUND BEFORE. Not me anyway. pfft. Rubbish. At first they were "Jasper and Wilfred our very very
shy ushers for today." now ah. :| nothing to say la. bochap one. AND. When we went to the pool, just for fun, the guys in the pool went "WHOO. LAdies!" -.- LIKE WHATEVER MAN. I prefer to be treated with dignity. Then when we were in the african violet lab thingy thing (which none of us understood but primary school kiddies understood) some peiyi guy and jasper engaged in a "dog fight" (more of quarrel la x] ).
Ok. So enough of all this. I still feel that big schools arent that good actually. No sense of homeliness. In rgs you can run around the whole school and conquer it. In a school where its members CANT EVEN REMEMBER WHICH LABS ARE WHERE, how can it be homely? You wont even know your school well la.
But i guess the symposium was quite fruitful(: excluding the ushers. (:
